Hello, My name is Savi. I’m 29 years of age and I’m a professional pianist, arranger, accompanist, and a teacher. I started learning piano at the age of 6. Having studies Classical music under Trinity Guildhall London, I further Studied Jazz and Improvisation under Berklee College of Music. I have had the opportunity performing a variety of styles in different occasions along with many talented musicians, while I enjoyed sharing my knowledge and passion with students of all ages for more than 10 years. I’m always patient and supportive to my students, as I love to encourage them to be creative and explorative. I love Cats, Cycling, Scuba diving, Reading, Watching movies, and listening to my favorite music during my past time.
My ultimate goal is to motivate and guide you along your journey into achieving your personal goals, while teaching you how to become a well rounded independent player, because nothing makes me happier than to see you progress and experience the joy of learning an instrument.
As a beginner, you will be learning basic elements, techniques, repertoire and fundamentals of music theory in a fun learning platform with listening activities, games and online quizzes for designed for different levels of learning. Later, once you have developed and grown in your ability to play with foundational aspects, you will be exposed into more complex understanding of music, like improvisation, harmony, analysis, composition etc. Sometimes you may be required to work together with your peers, this is to develop your social aspects of making music and sharing with others. I believe digital leaning has taken a over a huge step forward in helping students accomplish goals with new strategies of learning and it can be used to create perspective and engaging students in a whole new level.
I'm excited to be a part of your journey and I look forward to meet you!
