Thank you for visiting my profile! Here's a little bit about me. I am a drummer, music educator, and producer from San Diego, California. My first encounter with music happened when I was a kid. My family and I moved into a house with a piano, and I taught myself how to play. In High School, I joined the concert band percussion section, which was the beginning of my passion for drums. Even though I had a later start than the rest of my classmates, that did not stop me from chasing my dreams. Practicing non-stop to catch up to the level of the section and taking private drum lessons really helped out. By the time I was 18 years old, I had gone to community college originally as a business major but found myself uninterested and decided to study music technology. That same year I joined my first female rock band and performed many gigs. Over time, those experiences helped me develop an ear for creating beats and producing music. Even though I specialize in playing and teaching drums, I have an associate's degree in music technology and a Bachelor's in Music Production from Berklee College of Music. I am currently in The Pumps, a pop-rock band with all female members. In addition, I do freelance session drum work and perform gigs for bands needing a drummer. Over the past few years, I have built a big audience on her social media and have made numerous connections.
