Tell us what you want to learn and we'll point you at the teachers worth meeting.
A keyboard is fine to start. Full-size keys that respond to how hard you play make a big difference, and your teacher can tell you when it is worth upgrading. If you already have a piano, even better.
Many children start piano around five or six, and adults begin at every age. Each teacher’s profile shows the levels they teach, from complete beginners to advanced players.
You join a video call from a phone, tablet or laptop set up so your teacher can see your hands on the keys. They show you what to play, listen as you play it back, and send you off with something to practice.
Your first lesson with a new teacher can be a free trial, so you can see whether you click before you commit. Pick a time on their profile and they will confirm it. If plans change, you can cancel or move a lesson up to 24 hours before it starts at no charge.
