Bio

Guoda has been an active music educator since 2014, and she successfully continues teaching in private and for varied groups of people of different ages and abilities. She has proven attentive to detail and extremely caring to each student. She was a Musical Director of Paisley Opera summer workshops for teenagers, not to mention the work experience at various institutions, including Melrose School of Arts, Glasgow School of Music, McCallum Music Studio, Nite Piano School, Caledonian University, University of Strathclyde, and others.

As a performer, she’s a brilliant soloist, chamber music member, and winner of 13 international piano solo and chamber music competitions in Lithuania, Check Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Austria, Romania, and France. She’s a recipient of the M. Rostropovich Support Foundation scholarship and had an opportunity to travel to Moscow and personally meet the maestro himself. In 2014 Guoda got a place and two scholarships to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

During their time in the UK, she performed in various setups at Fazioli Factory Showcase in Italy, ‘RCS Plug,’ and RCS Piano Festivals in Scotland. In addition, she collaborated in multi-piano performances, Piano&Dance showcases, piano duo shows, and organized tours in Lithuania and UK. She had the honor to perform for HRH Prince Charles at an event held by the Royal Conservatoire.

She has been highly recommended to play for various events of enormous importance ever since.

In 2020 Guoda created and initiated a collaborative project with Vilnius University Chamber Orchestra and contemporary musicians by creating a 7-part cycle piece for piano, orchestra, and electronics – a synthesis of modern sounds for piano and chamber orchestra called “Mysterium.” The project won an award of a generous amount granted by the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture and Arts in 2020.

In 2021 she won 2nd place at the International Piano Competition “Winner Klassiker” of Danubia and 1st place at the ‘International Oradea Piano Competition’ by getting to play with an Oradea Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

Guoda continues creative processes and indulges herself wholeheartedly in social work by collaborating with nonprofit organizations and individuals based in New York, USA, Queensland, Australia, and others.
