I am a singer and voice teacher originally from Chicago, IL. I have Masters in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Pedagogy. I have done extensive continuing education includes Estill Certification, LoVetri Somatic VoiceworkCertification, Linklater training, Total Vocal Freedom training, and multi-year participation, both as a teacher and singer, in her mentor Steve Smith’s Naked Voice Institute.
One of my greatest passions is Vocal Rehabilitation and Holistic Teaching. The voice is an intrinsic part of who you are. The goal is to foster that relationship between the self, body, and voice. They have extensive training in both the classical and commercial music fields.
I have worked with Speech Pathologists at Northwestern University to develop warm-ups and practices for those with Muscle Tension Dysphonia. In particular, they have crafted wellness practices for the singing actor in recovery from vocal disorders and injury.
I also work with Trans and Non-Binary singers and actors on vocal work through transitions. I am committed to helping all singers discover their voices both for singing and speech.
I am a proud member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing, VASTA (Voice and Speech Trainers Association), PAVA (Pan-American Vocology Association), and the Somatic Voicework Teachers Association.
What to expect
Lessons with me are fun and informative. One of the things I'm known for is being able to take complex things and make them digestible for any singer, any age, at any level. I want to help you become the musician you'd like to be and meet the goals you would like to set. Learning how to sing should be fun. I am so excited to make music with you all!

You can always think ahead and get a few things ready before your lessons. Make sure to tune your instrument before the lesson. Bring à a notepad and anything you might need to write down notes. We strongly recommend testing your video conference settings at least 15 min before each lesson to avoid any unwanted technical issues during the lesson.
