Eric Boudreault

Hi guys, my name is Eric Boudreault, I was born in a small town called Alma in Canada. Growing up as an only child, I was taught how important values such as work, perseverance and determination are. If you want something, you must work for it.

I first discovered the drums when I was only three years old. I became curious about music at an early age. I received his first drum kit at the age of five and I joined a band at ten. Positive energy and attitude paid off at an early age. Which gave me the confidence to knock at the doors of drum companies and music bands. The drums were more significant for me than just a back beat instrument. I was already creating new organic & original beats.

If you are familiar with music magazines, I appear in many different drum magazines and newspapers: Modern drummer, Drums etc…, DRUM! & Many more.

In 1999, my first real chance of proving myself came up when I was selected to be part of the Yamaha Rising stars showcase at the Montreal Drum Fest. My playing was starting to be noticed by other drummers and by the music industry.
After graduating from Alma college of music in drums/percussions performances and from the Montreal Concordia University in Jazz drumset performances, the real word was opened for me. I become one of the busiest international touring Canadian drummers…with 18 years on the road and more than 5000 shows with different projects.

I quickly Joined Cavalia (equestrian show) for the creation of the thier first tourig show. A brilliant music composed by Michel Cusson, the show performed across the USA and Canada for years. I ended the contract after four years of travelling and more than 700 shows. I also have been part of the second Cavalia production, Odysseo since with more than 1700 shows in my pocket.
Despite the wild music industry and unpredictable salary, I managed to stay quiet and focused on my work. Concerned with his credibility on the market, I called drum companies for support and endorsement. I became one of the rare Quebec, Canadian drummers to be endorsed by Remo drumheads, Paiste cymbals, Vater drumsticks, Dorado Pads, Lp Percussions and DW Drums (Drum Workshop).

In 2006 my nu-jazz band, Inizio, first album of his jazz band Waza was released in stores. Featuring Alex Acuna, John Patitucci, John Beasley, Michel Donato and Ronal Di Lauro, the album is a blend of new & complex drum patterns. Waza was also invited to perform at the Montreal Jazz Fest in 2008 and at the NAMM Show in California in 2011.
In the previous years, I was giving master classes across Canada and United States, I produced albums, in 2011 I was invited in Los Angeles for the Drum Channel Experience. Since then, I am part of the DC roosters. I also be one of the main features of the 20th Montreal Drum Fest Anniversary in 2012. I played on many different Major Tv shows like Jay Leno, KTLA Morning, E-talk,Today NBC news, FOX5 morning show Los Angeles, FOX San Diego, KGW Portland, Star king (South Korea), Dans l’univers…, Montreal-Quebec, Salut Bonjour, Musimax, Musique plus & Much music, L.A. Morning, CityTv Toronto, CHCH tv and many others, just for name it a few…

In 2006, I was thrilled to start my drum company Battam Drum co. with the famous logo circle, triangle, and square. I built a few drumsets and snares for drummers around Canada. In 2008, the name changed for Elements percussions and the company also did an add-on with a booking musicians management.

I started to work with the rock & roll circus Les Parfaits Inconnus in 2007 with more than 300 shows all around the world. In 2008, he joined the biggest percussions school in Canada Samajam with more than 400 shows and team building. Since November 2012, you can get my drum book, DRUMMING LANGUAGE. I am very proud of that accomplishment. The book was a long process and hard work. A second book is on the way for 2021, keep your eyes open.

I like to be part of the drummer community so that’s why I was the Spokesperson / Host and artistic director for the Quebec City (Province of Quebec, Canada, Drum festival), “Capitale Drumfest”, produced by ”La Boite à Musiciens” editions 2014 & 2015. This opportunity has been an amazing contribution to the world drumming communities and Canadian drummers’ community.

On the side of my drumming career, I became the head of the musician’s casting department at Samajam Production 2016-2018. In 2019 I was touring for Cirque du Soleil on their show Blue man group, AXEL, Under the Same sky and XMAS. I was part of the new creation from Lune Rouge Entertainment (Guy Lalibeté), PY1 touring in North america in this new concept pyramide shape theater. I was part of the new Cavalia concept show, illumi editions 2019 and 2020.

In 2020, I received 3 music performances honorary degrees from CAM escuela de Música CDMX, Gmartel Universidad and El Conservatorio Nacional de Música de Mexico. I was the first drummer to give a masterclass in the Conservatorio a world renown and prestigious institution. I always wanted to share to the drummer community. I invite you to discover my new and original educative concept ”One minute or less Drum lessons”.

I am part of the encyclopedia of the best drummers in the world by the Stick and Skins. My new project, Drumfills kafé, keeps me connected to all my musicians’ friends from all around the world. I am the founder, artistic director, and host of this concept webcast-podcast-online magazine.

Judy Gascoyne

Greetings!
Thanks for checking out my lessons. My name is Judy aka Groovy Judy. I’m a guitarist, singer, songwriter and performer. I’ve been playing music for 45 years and teaching private and group lessons since 2003. I teach guitar, ukulele, beginning electric bass, beginning piano and songwriting. I’m currently teaching online via TakeLessons Classroom, Zoom, FaceTime, Skype or Microsoft Teams.

I work with a lot of kids (as well as adults) and beginners. I’m extremely patient, and I enjoy getting brand new students up and running with proper techniques and good habits. My teaching style/philosophy is to get my students playing as soon as possible in an easy and fun way. I focus on basics such as tuning, rhythm, proper pick technique, strumming, reading guitar tab and/or sheet music, and playing songs. I tailor my lessons to the student so it’s fun for both of us.

The styles I teach are: rock (classic, indie, punk) folk, pop, reggae/ska funk, blues, r&b, country, some finger-picking, and a bit of classical. I can teach you any song you want to play whether it’s rap, rock hip-hop or a piano piece. I will find a way to do it and make it fun. 🙂

My style is easy going, but not lackadaisical. I take teaching seriously and do my best to make the student feel comfortable. I give my students weekly assignments that I ask them to complete. However, if a student doesn’t work on their assignment, I don’t criticize or condemn them. I go over the assignment with them and gently remind them to play and work on the materials I’ve given.

I love teaching, music, and sharing my gifts with others.

Thanks and I look forward to working with you!
Cheers,
Judy G. aka Groovy Judy

Edi Siljak

Hello, my name is Edi and I am a certified violin teacher.
Here is a little bit about me.

Violin has been closest to my heart since my early childhood. I have been blessed with a beautiful and truly unique path that many string musicians would dream of having since it was my father, a master violin maker, who made my first violin (and every other that I play so far!) He brought me into this fascinating and captivating world, straight to the heart of the strings, right from the beginning! And I feel that was a big fire-starter to my passion and love for the violin.

I have performed for 22+ years, winning several top prizes at international and national competitions and playing concerts and recitals in Europe. I perform in several different classical duos and also play new music, spanning influences from diverse styles and genres.

For over six years, I have taught professionally working with students from beginners to academy/conservatory-level musicians. As Head of my school’s department, I strongly believe in providing students with a nurturing and caring atmosphere to freely and fully express their soul potential and love for music in a fun and creative way.

Vukašin Gogoš

My name is Vukasin. I was a little boy the first time I touched the clarinet and played the tune. After that, Clarinet instantly attracted me; since then, we’ve never been apart.
I had the opportunity to perform with many philharmonic orchestras ( Belgrade philharmonic orchestra, Radio-television of Serbia symphony orchestra, Defense Ministry cultural ensemble “Stanislav Binicki”), as well as to share my knowledge with students in various Music schools.
But, most of all, I love sharing music with an audience and enjoying it with other musicians.

Music is a way of expressing myself and being able to relate to other people.
Music is a source of inspiration.
Music wakes me up, gets me going, and is a way to add some more awesomeness to every day.

Thank you for visiting my profile! I am Olga Stoll Piano Teacher. Here’s a little about me

I started piano lessons when I was seven and quickly fell in love with the instrument. Despite studying in a structured program, I began exploring my creative side by improvising on the piano while still enjoying playing classical pieces. Throughout my youth, I entered and qualified in a few competitions. I was also involved with the band chorus, dance, and drama and attended many concerts, plays, operas, and ballets. It gave me a well-rounded artistic upbringing.

I pursued my passion for music and graduated from the world-renowned Moscow conservatory of music with a Master’s degree in piano performance and teaching. My education taught me to understand the piano in-depth on top of music theory and ear training.

As of today, I am a professional pianist, teacher, and composer. With my thorough knowledge and experience of music, I can teach all ages and levels an array of essential subjects, including piano, music theory, improvisation, composition, and music history. My goal with every student is to incorporate all those subjects into their learning process. This way,  they thoroughly understand music and become well-rounded musicians.

I guide my students in the curriculum and exams of the Royal Conservatory program. As a result, they can pass their exams twice a year. Furthermore, my students can participate in Junior festivals and community recitals. I have also been a judge for the Lake Central Junior festival at the University of Central Florida for over eight years and an assistant for RC exams.

Creativity and love of music are the key elements I encourage in every student. With over 20 years of teaching experience, I take my student beyond their expectation. I will help you achieve your own musical goals and dreams.

Hello, I am Michael Fisher, Violin Teacher.

I started playing the violin at age four in the Suzuki studio of Pat Thayer in Williamsport, PA. Then, I furthered my studies with James Lyon of the Pennsylvania State University. A graduate of the Williamsport Area High School, I participated in the Williamsport String Quartet, WAHS Orchestra, and Choir, the Millionaire Strolling Strings, and sat as Concertmaster of the 2019 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) District 8, Central Region and All-State Orchestras. I have also been a member of the All-National Honors Orchestra of the National Association for Music Educators (NAfME). Another part of my musical education and development is the summer institutes that I have been a part of, including the Pennsylvania Suzuki Institute, Ithaca Suzuki Institute Advanced Program, Credo Chamber Music Camp, Williamsport Chamber Music Camp, and the Wintergreen Summer Music Program.

Accepted at the University of Michigan, Eastman School of Music, Cleveland Institute of Music, New England Conservatory of Music, and The Juilliard School, I ultimately followed my heart to Boston, MA!

I am now a freshman at the New England Conservatory of Music, studying with Professor Soovin Kim.

Two of my most significant accomplishments were being accepted to the 2019 National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America (NYO-USA), sponsored by Carnegie Hall and The Juilliard School.

As a part of being selected for the 2019 Carnegie Hall’s National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America, I spent a two-and-a-half-week residency at Purchase College in New York, studying with the top musicians in orchestral music, including Sir Antonio Pappano, Isabel Leonard, Magdelena Kozena, and Joyce Didonato. At the end of the residency, I and the NYO-USA performed twice in the US before departing for our European tour. We performed in some of the greatest halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, the Royal Concertgebouw, Usher Hall, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and Seigi Ozawa Hall, and at festivals such as BBC Proms, Tanglewood Music Center, and Edinburgh International Music Festival.

I believe that the secret to life is developing an appreciation for everything you have. Work ethic is what I value more than anything else. I attribute my diligence to my life centered around my passions; therefore, nothing is truly “hard work” to me. I strive to live as productive and healthy of a lifestyle as possible, being an avid runner, a passionate weight lifter, and following a very balanced diet. My goals are always prominent in the front of my mind, so my drive continuously propels me toward all of my dreams.
