Hello, my name is Edi and I am a certified violin teacher.
Here is a little bit about me.
Violin has been closest to my heart since my early childhood. I have been blessed with a beautiful and truly unique path that many string musicians would dream of having since it was my father, a master violin maker, who made my first violin (and every other that I play so far!) He brought me into this fascinating and captivating world, straight to the heart of the strings, right from the beginning! And I feel that was a big fire-starter to my passion and love for the violin.
I have performed for 22+ years, winning several top prizes at international and national competitions and playing concerts and recitals in Europe. I perform in several different classical duos and also play new music, spanning influences from diverse styles and genres.
For over six years, I have taught professionally working with students from beginners to academy/conservatory-level musicians. As Head of my school’s department, I strongly believe in providing students with a nurturing and caring atmosphere to freely and fully express their soul potential and love for music in a fun and creative way.

My passion for sharing knowledge was evident throughout my studies. Having a background in Russian/Soviet violin school, my goal is to teach everyone the principles of violin playing I stand behind so that they can apply this knowledge themselves and in doing so, acquire independence. In other words – teach a man to fish!
Years ago, along with my studies, I dived into performance psychology research as I was so intrigued by it. It would make me happy to be able to share this amazing knowledge on the art of performing and getting into the zone when playing to audiences.
Besides teaching children and adult beginners, I feel that my strong value is in working with advanced students, where my knowledge and guidance can have an immense impact on their musical life.
I strongly believe in guiding each person towards individuality and finding their unique expression, their voice, rather than making them a copy of their teacher. Technique serves a purpose only to enable our soul to express itself freely...
Being able to inspire others is one of my greatest gifts. After each lesson, my students will have clear practice instructions to achieve all their musical dreams!

Online lessons are interactive, so you’ll be able to communicate with your teacher, ask questions, and comment as much as you like.

If you need to cancel a lesson, do so by clicking on the “Cancel” button on your booked lesson and your teacher will be notified automatically.
You can always think ahead and get a few things ready before your lessons. Make sure to tune your instrument before the lesson. Bring à a notepad and anything you might need to write down notes. We strongly recommend testing your video conference settings at least 15 min before each lesson to avoid any unwanted technical issues during the lesson.
